there's going to be some *solid* changes around here!

What a day? First off let me say Thank You mom for going to bat for me when no one else would listen (or very few).

Today I went to see a great paediatrician and ... It seems I don't have Colic! -the colic symptoms (tummy issues/gas issues) are caused by not being able to make a proper seal with the nipple on the bottle because of the hemangioma on my lip that opened up. Half of my lip is an open sore so it hurts to suck.

Wow! Who would have guessed?

So, the doctor recommended some Next Steps in order to help the situation along with the fact that I have an appointment with a terrific dermatologist on Monday for Hannah.
With the new doc's diet, I'm hoping to see some results.

Brenda - I'm really sorry BUT - I am going to start seeing a paediatrician from now on. I think it's the best decision but I will still be making daily calls to you as your advice/experience has really helped me out!





I know I'm young but ... I just can't help myself :)

Well my tummy is feeling better this morning. So, my mom has decided me to enroll me in Gymboree Thursday session - Yahoo!
I spent the morning preparing for the class:
-I sang (well, screamed a little and coo'ed a little)
-I played (on my change table and playmat)

old habits with a new twist

Ok, so my tummy used to cramp before I got the Zantac, and now its cramping again
... BUT this time I'm sleeping better & smiling a lot more. I think the cramps are from the Tylenol - which I need for my lip. Anyhow, it seems that I've changed personalities overnight !!!

So far today, I went for a walk around my neighborhood, went to Chapters for some "milk"and a nap, Loblaws for some Blue Menu items for mom, and tonight I'm heading to East Side Mario's with friends.

With my new great behaviour, mom can take me anywhere anytime!

Good morning!

Well, after the weirdest day yesterday, I'm back to most of my old tricks. But I've seemed to learn 2 new things:


1)my left hand









2)the ability to just fall asleep anywhere/time







Who knows what tommorow will bring?

Ummm ... by the way, did I mention I only got up ONCE last night?! YAY!

My first Gymboree class!

And it was fun! Although I was the youngest there, you could tell that I would always be the cutest! I had sooo much fun until about 10 min. left and then I was *slightly* tired. At the end of the class .... while on my blanket on the mat, I ROLLED ONTO MY SIDE again!This was me at the end of the class:
After Gymboree, I went to Centrum for a walk then a drink at Chapters:
I'm off to nap (which I've been doing all day long!).
Today has been one of my best days so far!

Good morning!

So my mom WOKE me up this am!! What does she want?
I tried to sleep in and geeze, she came running into my room to check on me and as soon as she had a hand on my chest - my eyes POPPED open and wham I was in tears. (just to teach her not to do that again!)

Now I am in a much better mood. Today is my first time going to Gymboree where I'll be showing off my huge smile! (see pics below and here are some videos)

The class I'm going to:
These classes focus on developing your baby’s interest in the world through sensory exploration. Stimulating age-appropriate activities such as tummy time, flashlight play and infant massage help to build trust and security and emotional connections with others. Parent discussion time at the end of each class helps you to connect with other parents and learn more about your child’s development.

Ok, so I've had quite the busy day:
-3 outings (Bayshore and Gramma's and Roger's)
-2 tantrums (noon and 5pm)
-1 incident where I scared my mom sooo much that she almost peed her pants

This afternoon I got all cleaned up and dressed up and headed out to Centrum & Signature Centre for a brisk walk. It is gorgeous here today and as much as I don't like the sun in my eyes, it was sure nice to be out there.

I did it! Twice! Rolled onto my side. You see my mom put me on my back on the floor while she went to make some bottles - I was a hungry hippo today! When she came back, I was on my side.
Although this seemed like a fluke later on the same thing happened while we were playing on the couch.


And what a great day! I found my Cooing voice to. Now I can express myself more ... AND do I ever!!!

After a lengthy dinner in a booth that barely fit the 6 of us WITHOUT my car seat at Baton Rouge, I went to Angie & Mo's to have some formula (and mom a drink). I was so well behaved.
Now I'm sleeping soundly in my crib for hopefully a long time.

Good morning!

Although I keep a cute front, sometimes I am not so cute. I might have turned day into night yesterday. So today I'll be trying to change that back.

My mom seems pretty pooped with the 4am wake up time .... hee hee hee :)

I don't understand? We went to the doctors, I was dressed so cute!I smiled the whole time ... then I got pricked!
I was not happy - although, like the well behaved infant I am, I only cried for 2 minutes! Boy I'm good. Mom is scarred though.

The doctor said I was perfect ... okay perfectly healthy :)

Happy 2-month to moi !!!

Well good morning! I'm a big girl now. Two whole months old. Yay me !!!
I wonder if I get presents for this? Oh I already did - 6 brand new sleepers from Mexx that I promised not to outgrow for at least 1 week :)

Today I got to watch the Mozart from the Baby Einstein Series. (Thank you Marlo & Chuck)


All I kept wondering was:

I'm off to the doctor's today for my 2 month checkup ... and innoculations! Ouch! Wish me luck.

Well last night I decided to eat every couple of hours. I'm growing so fast !!!
