I was so brave! Gramma held me so that my parents wouldn't have to see me in that state ... they didn't know I would fall asleep while the treatment was going on. My lip should (hopefully) be better in no time!
YAHOO!!!
I'm happier than ever! Progress!! Yay!!!
(here is some background from mom)
As most of you know, Hannah has been having quite the challenge since she was born. Well, it started off with a cute little red mark on her lower lip (Haemangioma). Then the cute little red mark opened up L About the same time, the doctor diagnosed her with Colic. Yuck! Well, it turns out, 11 weeks later … that it wasn’t Colic. Her tummy was ailing her due to her not being able to make a seal on her bottle while feeding. She was sucking in way too much excess air. The symptoms mimicked the ones of Colic. So, thanks to the amazing paediatrician that found this out (Dr. W. James), Hannah saw a dermatologist. This dermatologist (Dr. J. Adam – Thank you Mrs. Reilly-Rossiter!!!) advised me of some terrific treatment and helped me get into to see the best laser surgeon around. Today, Hannah received laser therapy (Dr. Laughlin) on her lip and we are hopeful that it will heal incredibly fast!!! Finally some progress. We return to the doctor in 2 weeks time where she is excited to see some improvement. My little Hannah should be feeling better in the near future J Thanks everyone for your support!
Hannah
p.s. I couldn't resist posting pictures of myself after the laser therapy! I still have the cutest smile on the block!
