So, I apologize in advance for the long post but it's been that kind of day. I'll try and be brief with each topic.Overall Summary
6:45am - wake up
no morning nap - because I just didn't want to
10:00am - Angie came over to play (while mom did her last football fantasy draft)
11:45am - went to Gymboree
1:00pm - nap (60min - and that's stretching it)
3:00pm - the dreaded doctor's appointment
7:00pm - bedtime
Leroy the Cat
Leroy & I like to play this game - who gets the most attention. Seems as though when Leroy thinks I'm getting too much attention, he knocks me down :). When I think Leroy is getting too much attention, I grab his fur really hard. I think we are equal. Here are some videos of us "playing". (no animal was harmed in the making of these videos, also, the first one is really big so beware)
Crawling or something Like-It
As per everything in life, sometimes you have to regress in order to progress. Crawling I'm thinking is no different. I've mastered how to go backwards. Well, you ask when will this come in handy? My response - it just will. Here are some videos of me gnilwarc (crawling backwards).
6-month checkup - Yes, I'm already 7 months + 1 week old.
Just to keep consistency in my life, I had my 6 momth checkup today - a month late.
My stats (since that is what Kanata Mom's based thier childs marketability on):
Weight - ~18lbs and 1oz.
Height - ~29inches.
According to the CDC Growth Charts that puts in:
Weight - ~75th percentile
Height - ~97th to 100th percentile
However, since a growth pattern isn't indicative of the future height/weight until a child is approximately 3 years old, these stupid percentiles are useless.
Other points to mention from the appointment:
- we need to start brushing my (8) teeth. the doc did laugh when he saw my full set. he also mentioned that the next teeth to come in will be my molars and they won't (most likely) come in until i'm 1 year old. (he better be telling me the truth here)
- he gave me a guidline as per a suggested diet. i'm already a little farther on the solid foods path than most because of my previous feeding issues so there were no suprises. here is the suggested chart HOWEVER the doc did say a 2 thumbs up to eating whatever my parents are eating (seeing as how i have 8 teeth). Here is the handout I got:

Yucky! Although I didn't cry, the no-nap this am coupled with the 1 hour nap this afternoon and the shots has made me SUPER fussy right now.- Overall - I got the clean bill of health! Yippee! And I don't go back until 9 months ... Oh yeah baby!
- ONE LAST THING: The nurses started laughing at my mom. Why you ask? Well, my appointment was yesterday. Yup, mom is a little slow on the uptake these days. I'm to blame, if I slept more and stopped waking her every 3-4 hours, she'd be in much better spirits :)
Gymboree - Weee heee heee
Today Gymboree was pretty fun! The teacher was pretty cool (even though my mom got scolded for talking out of turn). I had to share this - my friend Sydney is absolutely gorgeous!!! She is quite the little personality. And her new clapping skill is precious. Here is the beautiful little girl (little girl cause she is so grown up - 5 days older than I).

I hope all the people reading this have had a super day and hopefully tommorow will be like every other day in my life - full of smiles, laughs, giggles, poop, food, and Love! (I hear adult life is the same thing ... but they use a different word for poop).
Cheesy as this might sound, this is definitely mom's favorite time of day - reviewing my pictures/videos and events of the day. She's a big cheeseball now (huge).
Here are some photos taken today (and 2 cute videos of my in my hoodie):
-first thing in the morning crawling ... trying :)
-this is me & Sydney at Gymboree (my mom in the backround)
-on the way home from Gymboree (zzzz zzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz)

-in the waiting room at the docs office
-waiting for the doc
-still waiting for the doc!
-taken after my shots (I'm still in good humor!)

-playtime after dinnerUnfortunately, it looks like I had a bit of a reaction to the shots and now I have a sniffly nose :( Hopefully it is just temporary and tommorow I'll wake up feeling better than ever! Cross your fingers puhlease.
G'night & Love,
Hannah
