its just that. so simple. so easy. its just that.

what an experience!

My cousins are in town today. They live in London-England (here are the pics from the last time my parents went to visit them - in fact, it was the month before mom found out she was having me!!!) specifically in St. Albans. What a beautiful place they have (so my parents tell me).
And their children - my new cousins, are pretty cute! Talia and Cody. Talia is full of energy with a topping of sweet personality and Cody is the perfect baby that everyone wishes for.
Anyhow, the point to this story ...
We all (6 of us) went to Jack Astors for lunch. Right after we sat down my mom asked Cody's mom which bottled solid food he was going to have for lunch? Cody is 11 months old. Cody's mom responded "he is going to eat what I eat". This was said with such courage of convinction. Wow!
My mom's jaw dropped open. You see, living in Canada, most of the mom's would fall off their chair if someone said that their 11 month old was eating "people food" - cause the solid's in jar form aren't People Food?!
Anyhow, my mom took note and decided to finally do the same. So, at lunch I had some beans, carrots, chicken, & bread. I did the same thing at dinner. No cereal tonight except in the cookie form and the little new puffs my mom got me.
Good choice? We'll see in the morning!
But wow! My mom was just soooooo impressed! I guess in the UK people aren't bothered so much by the "first time mom judgement sessions" which usually last for the first 5 years.

On a positive note: last nigth I slept 7pm-6:40am. Yay! I did cry once at 4am and needed to be turned onto my back, but that's it. I also napped twice today for 1 hour each. Yay me! (and yay for my mom.)

So this weekend is going to be extremely busy for me! So if I don't post don't be alarmed.
Friday night I have Rosh Hashana dinner at some grandparents house.
Saturday: 9am - swimming lessons, 3pm - wedding ceremony, 4pm - cousins get together, 5pm - wedding cocktails/dinner.
Sunday morning (after my nap) I am going to Synagogue.

Holy geeze! I hope this doesn't severly impact on my sleep. If I don't keep sleeping the night's, my mom won't be very happy (to all of you and me!).

I got this really cute outfit for Friday and Sunday night but I'm having second thoughts about it. I'm not sure its what I look my best in! We'll see how things turn out.

So my mom didn't have much time to take photos so this why there is only 3!

One thing also - my mom was very excited to see the counter on this page go to 1000!!! Yippee! However, she is scared because she isn't sure who's checking this page ... hopefully its friends & family! We hope :) Or else, feel free to drop my mom an email to let her know that you enjoy reading this ... compliments/critisms (sp?) always welcome!

G'night,
Hannah
