So close I can taste it!It's absolutely incredible how much my life changes day to day. Not to invoke any song here but "I can see clearly now the rain is gone" - No more blur! I can see/reach/grab everything! And no matter where it is, I'll make my way towards it. Well, a good try of course. Going to my tummy from a sitting position is almost successful. And on my tummy I'm getting my legs beneath me a ton. Soon I'll be chasing my friends the cats.
And mom thought I'd never roll! All I do is roll. And scooch on my bum bum to. Also, I can turn around on my bum, tummy, and back - I'm very talented :)
Mom is really excited for me! Each time I almost move, seems the camera is on :) She caught me almost sitting from a laying down position. I was soooo close!
And on that note, mom started baby proofing my play room. She put up a gate,
removed excess junk, blocked off her bookshelf, and lowered the couches.
Boy am I going to do circles around this place ... mom you just wait and see!Another new skill I found is ... being able to stand! I never knew I could. What I love is holding onto things while I stand - mom isn't allowed to help me! I can do this on my own.

A little Tidbit of information ... So, for those of you who don't know how/why my parents moved to Kanata, here is the explantion.
Until mom was 7 months pregnant with me, she & dad lived downtown. There was a little court on the corner of Kent & Somerset. It was beautiful! Here is what their house looked like.
(more pictures of the house)When mom was 3 months pregnant, their house was broken into - while they were home (@7:30am). Although less than 100$ was taken and no one was hurt, this was pretty scary. So mom said they should move! (here is a hint for all girls out there - no guy likes to be told what to do ... they need to come to that conclusion on their own) Anyhow, dad thought if he bought mom the king size bed she'd always wanted, then she'd forget about the unfortunate break in and that would buy him some more time in this incredible house. Mom, the stubborn person that she is, went house shopping (2 weeks after she got the king size bed :) ). One night mom made dad go see this house she wanted. Turns out the house was crappy. However, the agent said that she had one that she was representing and we should take a look. That it was split level. What was split level? Mom said ok. Off they went to ... my house now!!! As soon as mom walked in the door, she looked over at dad and said "I want it. This is the one. I want this house." And ...
5 hours later dad was convinced to buy it.
48 hours we bought it.
108 hours later our house downtown was sold.
Less than 2 months later, we moved in :)
Now I get to live in this amazing house!!!! Here is the view from my front lawn:
And here is me playing on the lawn:
