how to make 12 hours feel like 24

The answer: have your little one teething. Arg! Hannah is getting 2 new teeth in. It wouldn't be so bad ... EXCEPT one of them is a molar and the other a canine tooth. Can you believe it? This will make her total 11. Unbelieveable for a 9 month old child. (here is from Babyworld)

The average time and usual order of appearance is

  • Four central incisors (cutters) start appearing at around 6-7 months
  • Four more side incisors appear at around 8 months
  • Four back molars (chewing teeth) appear at between 10-14 months
  • Four canines (pointed teeth) appear at around 16-20 months.
  • Four more back molars appear at between 24-30 months.
Guess Hannah is ahead of the curve! Yippee! Guess all those competitive Kanata moms can kiss my (very large) bootie.

What a long day. I'm sure it would have been just as long had I not been pregnant. But regardless, it was long. Last night was very crappy - I can't believe the nerve of Hannah to wake up once :) Regardless, she slept in until 8am which then begs the question - why did I get up at 6:30am? I'm an idiot. Then of course, the one morning I actually have plans to meet someone for some adult conversation, Hannah gets all cranky and ends my Starbuck's Adult time really fast. Then the rest of the day was me & her. Considering she did one nap for 30 min, when she went down tonight she wasn't as messy as she could have been.

You know what's neat? To look down at your child (in my case my daughter) and see you and your husband in her. It still makes me all gushy inside. Her cheeks are soooo much like my hubby's. I swear everytime I kiss them I am kissing the 2 of them.

Well, I think one of my dimensions are growing a little. Yeah, you guessed it. My talent is a little bigger :). Other than the constant wondering - am I still pregnant, there are no major symptoms to note. So I've decided not to take anymore tests. Well, at least I'll try.

Let's hope tonight goes better and ideally Hannah wakes up in the morning with 2 more teeth and no cold.

G'night,
Sharon
