Yesterday we (Hannah & I) woke up ready to conquer the world. Got dressed, got some errands done. Had amazing naps. Around 2pm I noticed that the heat wasn't working so I call the company that we have our furnace insurance with and they say they will be there in a couple of hours. Ok, so I head out with Hannah to do more errands. When I get back, the heating people still aren't there. Ok, the house is still warm I'm happy. Then at 5pm'ish, my CO (Carbon Monoxide) alarm goes off. Yikes! I went next door to ask for some help and some kind gentleman obliged. After a couple of minutes talking things out, we decided that Hannah and I should leave. I opened some windows for the cats (did I mention the furnace was not working?!) and headed off to my friend Angie's. Hannah was not amused. What 10 month old wants to be plucked out of her cozy house at her dinner hour. Not mine. In the meantime, the furnace guy arrives at my house and says indeed there is a leak and the CO ratio in the air is too high but he needs a piece of equipment to trace the leak - and of course this piece isn't available until the morning. End result - Angie and I went back to my place to pick up all the essentials the 3 of us (me, Hannah, Ced) would need to spend the night at Angie's place. Things went fine at first. Hannah went down amazingly without a peep in her playpen. The adults (including Adam) played some games and watched Monday Night Football. Then off to bed for me. Hannah woke at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and for good at 5am. It was hard cause normally I'd just let her cry but I didn't want to wake up Angie, Mo, and especially Adam. So I spent most of the night awake. Yuck! Angie got up early to make us all coffee - that was soooo nice of her as I had about 4 cups. Yes, I was shaking from the caffeine - desperate times call for desperate measures! After Hannah's nap we headed home - to a house of 58F (14C). I didn't care at that point.Ced bought a space heater and I dug my heals in and we stayed double dressed in the cold. And about noon our heat was fixed! So thats that.
Now onto the big news - had my 1st ultrasound today!!! And they saw a baby with a heartbeat of 169 bpm!!! Yahoo! (some say your miscarriage rate goes down significantly once you see a heartbeat)
Here are some photos of the ultrasound as well as my report.

Wow! It still hasn't hit me (and definitely hasn't hit Ced) that we are pregnant again. I was just pregnant this time last year.
Pop! Yup - my belly popped already. I'm bigger at 2 months this time than I was at 5 months last time. Wow! So this is what it's like?
G'night - I'm soooo tired!
