family - that's where its at.

Finally some relief! Keep reading to find out why.

Friday after I posted (which by the way was a terrific coffee time because the 2 angels played nicely) we left for the Children's Museum. It was fun & not-fun. Jake loved it, Hannah loved it - and hated it - she probably whined every moment she wasn't smiling. My patience was already gone by 11am. She's finding it hard now with Jake moving and taking a lot og her personal items and invading her personal space. So she whined, whined, and whined. I started talking to her and asking her to use her words and to stop whining. By the end of the day I think she just stopped whining because there was no point. In fact, today she didn't whine at all!!! It was super. Not sure if this was just pure luck, but it was really great and nice to see something I did/worked on actually work!

Jake's getting much faster! Crazy.

So yesterday after the Children's Museum we came home and rested the rest of the day. At night I headed out with Riley for drinks at OCP. We had super fun - chatted, had some drinks, and made fun of the Kanata night life :)

Got home late, Ced was/is sick, and woke up with the tykes this morning. We did have a super fun day just the 3 of us. Starbucks, followed by the Agricultural Farm (see the photos on the side of this page). Hannah loved loved loved it!!! She thought the animals were so funny, chatted with them, and addressed them as friends. Too cute. Jake was pretty enthralled to.

After we headed to Play Value to jump on their trampoline and play with their toys. Hey - it killed 20 min. so we could then meet the grandparents for lunch at East Side. Both kids were super amazing during lunch!!! I couldn't believe it. Normally when you start lunch at 12:45 kids aren't too pleased. But both kids were just awesome. Totally incredible. And they ate tons -which is nice as my daughter isn't eating much lately.

We came home for Jacob's nap then it was off to Amanda & Ian's for dinner. It was so nice of them to do. I was exhausted and to be able to have this incredible dinner served to me was just so thoughtful and exactly what I needed. Ellard can now pull him self upright completely. He'll be walking soon - he's extraordinary!

Ok, I'm off to relax with my House & diet Pepsi.

Cheers,
Sharon
