From Sunday night to ...
Monday morning, we headed to Lesya's in Carp. BEAUTIFUL house! And I loved the area. It was seriously a house I'd live in. Her daughter Sophia is toilet trained - wow! And Naomi who is just 4 months old is 18.4 ounces - wow! We had an amazing time! The coffee and company were terrific.
For lunch we met Avi, Ian, and my dad at Local Heros in Bells Corners. The food was so so but the lunch was awesome. Hannah was enamoured by Avi! She had so much fun with him and Jake loved just being there. At the end of the meal Avi and Ian both took turns throwing Hannah up in the air - Hannah was in HEAVEN!!! She is sooooo smitten with her two favorite uncles - all she kept saying all afternoon was 'Avi come play' or 'Unc Ian come play' or 'Unavi come play' - annunciation isn't her forte. It's nice for her to have 2 uncles who are 6 feet and are perfect for fun!
In the afternoon, Jen & Sydney came over and we headed to the park for some slides/swings/chase/sand cookies :).
Finally we had a meal at home - it's been a while. Yeah yeah yeah I cooked :).
Today. Ah.
This morning we headed to playgroup. Jake finally enjoyed playing around with the other kids. Crawling around at a much faster speed :). Hannah had a great time!
After playgroup we headed to the UPS store to mail a package then off to St. Laurent to meet up with Shawna, Nick, and Hannah for lunch and a visit to ToysRUs. I got Jake & Hannah some sippy cups (hopefully with the intent of Jake moving on to the hard topped ones - SOON), and ... I got Hannah the doll house I've wanted to get her for sooooo long! It's this: http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=2852429&cp=2582667&parentPage=family#prod_prodinfo.
And after shopping we headed back to Shawna's for a bit of play - then off to the plaza near their place. First to pick up some stuff at the grocery store then to Swiss Chalet for dinner. All the kids were incredible! Dinner was great. Hannah G. is super communicative - holy crap! I felt like I was talking to a little adult. And she pronounces everything so well!
G'night & Cheers!
Sharon
