At 1 years old ... (a quick update on what Jake can/can't do and what Hannah did/didn't do):
Weight:
J - 22lbs
H - 19lbs
Height:
J - 29 inches
H - 28 inches
Teeth:
J - somewhere around 10 (too many coming in right now to get an accurate #)
H - 14
Movement:
J - can crawl, climb, stand alone for a couple of seconds
H - Crawled, climbed, stood alone for a minute or two, and could climb on ride-a-long toys
Eating:
J - anything - not from a cup yet. Still throwing plates. However, started using a spoon. Eats in a strapped booster seat.
H - still on a bottle - not from a cup yet. Sat very nicely at a meal and ate off a plate, and was starting to use a spoon. Still ate in a high chair.
Trips:
J - To Florida.
H - On a cruise and to Florida (she celebrated her first birthday in Florida)
Sleep:
J - 11-12hrs/night. Still 2 short naps/day. In crib.
H - 11-12hrs/night. One medium length nap/day. In crib.
Both H & J understood No by a year - although H was more willing to listen. H was more cautious and J is just plain courageous!
