Well, that is the most popular word in my house. Both say it clearly, with purpose, and they mean business!

Monday
We headed to skating in the morning - Hannah had a blast! Spartacat was there and she was in love! It was her best class yet and the first time she was pilon free! Yippee! She even got a photo and autographed card from Sparacat :) Then it was off to Bayshore for some rewards/errands. And finally to school with 'the big girls'. As usual, volleyball at night - we won, again - yahoo!



Tuesday
Nothing beats an early morning doctor's appointment for Jakey's ears. Good news - he's super perfect! Not that we didn't know that already. We spent the morning hanging at the Kemp's and in the afternoon we chilled at home. I got tons of stuff done! Yippeee! For dinner I took the kids to Costco for the hot dogs! Oh, and the shopping and family time with my bro, Amanda, and Ellard :)

Wednesday
In the morning we did errands - the kids rock now, I'm able to get lots done and they sit and watch the movies and read books in the car - I love them! Then we had some lunch and I took Hannah to school with 'the big girls'.



Thursday
We vegged in the morning then headed to Sally's for a playdate with her beautiful princesses! My god their house is a Disney Princess Kingdom! Wow! Then we came home. Jen wasn't feeling well so Josh dropped off Sydney and we all played this afternoon. She got here about 1 hour after I let the kids puddle jump/snow climb in my front yard. At night, after dinner and Sydney was picked up, for a treat I took the kids to Hazeldean Mall - Hannah got a new headband, Jakey new gloves, and both (and me) some ice cream! Then a quick trip to Walmart and home.



Ok, some nifty things the kids are doing right now ...
1. Hannah now tells me she'll be right back, goes potty, and announces herself when she comes back into the room - super cute!
2. Jakey can put on his boots and gloves! It's awesome!
3. Hannah is now talking back to me telling me that 'this isn't fair', 'i don't want to', 'i don't like what is going on', 'i will not' ... i try so hard not to laugh but it is kinda funny - although sometimes it kinda hurts.

Fun in the snow?!

Omigod what fun! We headed off to Jacques Cartier Park yesterday and there were games, slides, and lots to see! It was a tad chilly but the kids seemed fine. Only us were cold :(. After we went to the canal for beavertails and a quick skate. Seemed Hannah's feet were super cold and she wasn't impressed. Who cares - I got me a beavertail - that Jakey took half of :(.

Saturday Hannah went to her dance class bright and early, 9am is really too early to have to be somewhere! Then Hannah spent the day at Ced's parent's and Jakey with me while I cleaned, showered, and a double nap! Then the Kemp's came over for a short visit. After that it was off to pick up Keeley, head to Ox Head for dinner! Yummy! The kids were awesome! About 8pm Jakey was falling asleep. We came back to my place but realized we were both exhausted so we drove Keeley home and then all fell asleep within the hour.

Friday we hung out in the morning and before you know it it was time to drop Hannah off at school. Then it was nap/relax time for Jakey and I. After school, the Kemp gals came over for a quick playdate. Then it was all about putting the kids to bed so I could head out to Marlo & Chuck's. I didn't get home until 2:00ish am. Ouch!

New sayings from Hannah:
'Daddy is taking a turn driving, mommy you are next'
'I'll be right back, I'm coming back, wait for me' ... she disappears for 5 minutes (goes potty) and returns 'I'm back, I'm right here, Ok, I'm back now'
'You got it for Hannah? A present for Hannah? That makes Hannah happy'

New accomplishments from Hannah:
Going to the potty alone - wiping, flushing, washing hands, all that jazz with no help.
Getting out the door with no help - all dressed in both clothes and snow stuff, gloves included.
Recognizing the letters A, B, C, D, E, O, H, N and numbers 1-8. We are still working on the rest.

New saying from Jakey:
'No way'
'Cookie please'

New accomplishment from Jakey:
Starting to take his pants/socks off himself before bed/bath.
Will listen to 2 step commands.
Can put Hannah's boots on and almost his own - the attempt is there.

This week has for us lot's of busy time!! My god.

Winter's Back!

Ok, so I thought winter was over?! Wow! Seems this one is packing some heavy steam still. Snow on the way for the next 3 days. Wow!

What's been shaking? Well, we just got back from Boca Raton and are ready to brave the last part of the season!

So much on the go. I'm in the midst of ...
1. Captaining for the Heart and Stroke Foundation
2. Continuing to be the Website Manager for KCNS
3. Starting to be the VP/Fundraising Chair for KCNS
4. Playing ball hockey (Sunday's)
5. Playing volleyball (Monday's)
6. Started a book club (1st Wed. of each month)
... and much more!

Today we hung out with the Kemp gals and even went for a walk in the afternoon outside. Wow - it was cold! Thank god for backyards!!!

And off to watch the yummy Thursday lineup!
