Hannah-lots of 'em!

So Hannah is totally obsessed with Hannah Montana! I kid you not. Looks like princesses will be out of style for a while! And when Jakey sees a picture of Hannah Montana he now calls her Hannah ... not sure if he realizes that's not Hannah! At any rate, the kids totally love dancing and singing to her concert and I don't think the music is that bad!

Also, Jakey started speaking ... seriously. It's like he clued in that if you ask for something using words you get it. He started wanting a lot! He's not the most clear person, but he tries! I'm sure by his 2nd birthday he'll be bossing me around like his sister. He never quite learned the little boys words like milk, eat, sit ... more like WANT MILK, EAT PWEESE, and SIT NOW. He's more of a 2 word guy. Try telling him it's time for a nap - he'll utter back at you 'fiiiive minit' and put his hand out to indicate it :)

Monday we had skating. Hannah is getting soooo much better! Skating backwards, small jumps, and although not the fastest in the rink, definitely looks the cutest! I can't wait to get Jakey out! In September they said no prob! Then it was off to the Library, home for lunch, then school.

Tuesday we skipped gymnastics, my ankle wasn't ready yet! Instead we went to the clinic to get my ankle checked out, then grocery shopping, then we got Hannah's Tinkerbell costume fitted. After that I seriously can't remember!

And today we headed to Bayshore in the morning so I could do a couple of things, then it was a quick drop-off to school for Hannah. Nothing too exciting! At night Kayla and Nick came for dinner then Kayla and I headed to the movies - we saw Ghost of Girlfriend's Past! Incredible!

a weekend o fun!

Ah Friday ... Lovely Friday! In the morning we hung out at home. In the afternoon we headed to Yong's Pond with her class. Jakey & Ced came to! And at night it was super relaxing!

Saturday was saaawweeet! Went to visit Ced's parents and the kids had a blast! We ended up at St. Paul's Farmer's market. Both kids got their faces painted. Jakey thought it was pretty neat! Finally he gets a turn. A short stop at a book store, organic food store, and bread store and we were back home. Then Kayla came and we headed out to dinner (Tratoria) and comedy show (Absolute) with Angie and Mo. Both were incredible! What a super fun & yummy night!!!

Today we GOLFED!!! Yes, I walked to Food Basics with the kids first thing to get some groceries and stuff. Then to Bayshore for capris. And finally ... OFF to the Golf course with Angie and Mo!! After my best round of golf - EVER - we met up with the Tatar's and headed to Lonestar. Again, super fun & yummy!

Moxilicous!

So the day after my ankle sprain I was up and at 'em!!! Who can sit home with an almost 2 and 3 year old? God!
Jen came over in the morning to help and Kayla in the afternoon. We took the kids to Here We Grow Again to let them go buck wild. Then at night I took them to meet my brother, Ellard, and my dad for dinner. Super yummy! And super painful. Driving was ccccrazy.

Wednesday was bleah. Superstore in the morning and school in the afternoon for Hannah. Although at night we had Book Club at Hockey Sushi! That rocked! I loved the food and the great conversation! Cheers to lots of women and great Sushi!

Today was a VERY busy day! Although I skipped wiggle/giggle/cooking class ... the McQuinn gals came over for a dip in the kiddie pool and some lunch. The Kemp gals joined us to. Then we headed off to Ian's for Mason's bris. And after that Moxies for some great patio weather! Ken, Paul, Mike, Miriam, Angie, Mo, Ced, I, Jakey, Hannad went and it was incredible! The kids loved it! They sat for over 2.5hrs with not even a whimper ... All stars!

ankle's suck.

So, it got a tad less busy! Sure sure. Saturday morning we headed to Hannah's dance class and then came home, cleaned, gardened, and had a visit with my fave gal Keeley! The 3 of us went to check out her new pad and had some diner food (my fave) with her parents and her. Super yummy! Then we came home and Kayla came over and Ced and I headed out for the night! A little Mystiko's with friends followed by some impromtpu Casino. A loss. Dinner was amazing, the company was amazing, the drinks/food was amazing, the boys roulette playing - not - so much. But I really had a great time! The kids had fun to - Kayla rocks!

Sunday we hung around in the morning and in the afternoon we headed to Ced's sister's for Ced's birthday party! Lot's of fun! Jakey and Hannah had a blast - their favorite time was when we played Duck Duck Goose!!!! They never picked me ... boo. 

Today morning we headed to skating - oops! It was cancelled! So home it was briefly before our jaunt to see Hannah Montana ... again :). Jakey slept for 45min. during it then sat like a champ in the seat. Hannah was in heaven! FYI: We now own the movie/cd. Car rides are 'so much fun' ... yowsers. Then we came home and I did yard work and ... was jumping down the stairs and jumped on my ankle sideways and ... A TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL later - I pulled the ligaments in my ankle!!! Thank god Kayla was around and she rushed over, turned the stuff on the burner off, and watched the kids. I left her with no food/milk/nothing ready and she was incredible! My foot hurt soooooo bad. Damn crutches don't help. K - off to sleep before the pain gets worse ... although it's not possible!

It's all about the Ken-jammins!

On Tuesday, we headed to Jakey's favorite! Gymnastics! Is he ever in heaven ... Singing, jumping, and swinging! Heaven!
Then we headed to Bayshore and eventually met up with my dad & bro for lunch at Dunns. Jakey slept right through it. What a treat for me! After we had an impromptu stop at the Museum of Nature. Not bad.

On Wednesday we relaxed in the morning and then Hannah went to school. A very quiet day.

On Thursday we had cooking/wiggle 'n giggle class in the morning followed by a lot of cleaning in the afternoon! Ian, Amanda, Ellard, Mason, and my dad came over for dinner. What a busy house!

Finally today we had Rhy & Daven over to play. Kelly, thier mom, is super nice/sweet! Too bad she left for the summer back to Nova Scotia. However, Jakey and Daven will be in school together next year. I should have done more with Kelly - she really was awesome! Then Kelly did me the most awesome favor and took Hannah to school so I could let Jakey sleep. After 1hr, I plucked Jakey from his bed and headed to Best Buy, the Beer Store, and the grocery store. Got things all ready for Ced to have his NHL buddies over :). Once that was all done, I headed out to meet Julie for drinks at O'Connors. Yummy and super fun! Then when I came back, it was awesome! The guys were still at my house. I love coming home to friends!

hannah's fave cat!

Hannah's favorite personality came to her skating class today! She had a super time! Then it was off to home, errands, and school.
Later in the day we had a quick visit from Jen & Sydney. During the day, I managed to:
1. Refine our RRSP's
2. Make all the meals for the week (a cooked chicken with potatoes/onion, lasagna, meatballs)
3. Make muffins for the kids for the morning (banana muffins - fresh :))
4. Clean the main floor
5. Disassemble the fish tank and bring back all the fish to the store
6. Clean the backyard
Oh, and watch/play/feed 2 kids!

In quick fashion since the week blew by ...
Thursday - went to visit Amanda & Mason in the hospital with Jakey while Hannah went to cooking. In the afternoon we did errands then chilled. At night I went/lost my 2nd arena ball hockey game!
Friday - worked on the house in the morning & afternoon. Hannah went to school. At night we headed to Angie and Mo's where I kicked some bootie at NHL09! Yeah, I rock!
Saturday - Oops! Skipped dance :-). Went to Ced's parents for breakfast then to the Mega-Used Book Sale in Embrum where you bought by weight - 1lb=1$. At night I headed out with Keeley for a super yummy dinner to Bombay Masala! It was awesome!
Sunday - Had 2 ball hockey games in the morning ... I'm sooo not in shape! Then we hung out, did errands, and at night went to Ian & Amanda's to celebrate Ced and Ian's Birthday as well as Mother's Day! Amazing lobsters & corn, the kids got a long really well, and it was really the perfect ending to a perfect day! Who needs a Mother's Day gift when I get everything I could ask for all the time :)

blackberries for kids?!

Today we hung around the house until school. Then a quick drop off for Hannah and I continuted to get tons done! So productive. Except my battle for the dandelion killing - not going to well. At night we visited Mason & Amanda! He's super cute! Then I met Julie for a coffee/cookie at Starbucks and soon after lights out!

a new nephew!

Saturday was long'ish! First off to dance class with the kids. I am so not impressed with the mom's there! What stiff women.
Then off to Ced's parents for breakie & park! And at night Marlo and Chuck came over. They brought The Works with them and I made a cake and we semi-celebrated Ced's birthday.
Sunday morning I took the kids to do errands with me. They really are great company :). Then it was off to ball hockey where we lost yet another playoff game. Ouch! In the afternoon the Kemp's came over for play & dinner. Finally asleep in my bed by 11pm.
Monday we had skating in the morning ... and guess what?! Ced's suprised Hannah and came to watch!!! She was SOOOO excited! Jen & Sydney came for lunch and then Hannah went to school in the afternoon. At night I had yes another preschool meeting. Fun - tee hee hee.
Today we headed to gymnastics bright and early ... for 9:15am (ok, so I'm 15min. late always as the class starts at 9am). Then off to renew passports/health cards! The kids were super troopers. Finally we met Jen and had lunch then went to a park. We all eneded up playing at my house after. And at night - Amanda had her baby! 9lbs 20z ... wowsa! Mason is super cute! I saw him briefly.

Tuesday we made forts after gymnastics class. Boy is 9am early to get to! Jakey just loves it though. His whole face lights up and now he runs to get to the teacher to do the 'tricks' :). In the afternoon Sydney & Jen came to play then it was my FAVORITE night of the week - Biggest Loser/American Idol! I was so happy that Tara & Mike stayed. Phewf!
On Wednesday we didn't stop! Park, Cosco, Park, lunch at my place, school, park, dinner and America's next top model :).

Thursday we had cooking class & wiggle & giggle. Again, more park. Geeze I'm constantly full of sand! Then in the afternoon Jakey got to try the roller skates! Boy did he love it! And suprisingly he didn't fall and was really balanced. I bet he's skating next September :-). Wow. I can't wait to go down the path with them. Where did my babies go? In the afternoon Jen and Sydney stopped over for a quick visit then it was off to Lonestar to meet the family. All 8 of us :). Hannah was in heaven sitting beside Grandpa. And after I had ball hockey at 9:30pm!!! It was in an arena and probably the funnest hockey I've EVER played!! Although I'm not the greatest I try super hard. It was 3 15min. periods and the size of an ice rink. Youzers! I need to get into better shape. We lost but it wasn't all cause of me. 

And today I had 10 kids & 6 moms over for a playdate! The kids got along really well and we were all able to chat without having to referee :). I had a great time!
Then it was school for Hannah and some groceries, and at night some homemade lasagna & homemade mushroom soup & Cosco garlic bread and poof - a lovely night! Kenny came over to play with Ced. Dorks. 

So ... guess what? We are Cruising this year! After a 3 year pause (July 24th 2006), we are going to go on a cruise with the kids this summer!! Royal Caribbean, Adventure of the Seas, July 12th, out of San Juan Puerto Rico!! Wow! I'm super excited - and now I have to get some super stuff done ... Yay!
