What sound does that make? Now peice them together ... And what does that spell?!
well since I can't remember the last 2 weeks - I can barely remember the last 2 hours :) I thought I'd write down what I remember.
Hmmm ...
Hannah is having a blast at Kindergarten & Oxford. She's started picking up the notion of sounding out the letters in the word then piecing the word together. It's like the skies have opened! Good for you Hannah - I'm super proud honey.
Jakey has stopped (knock on wood) crying when I drop him off at school. Again, like the skies have opened! Even at swimming classes there are no more tears. Way to go Jakey - I'm super proud.
We had the KCNS Walk-A-Thon - raised over 1500$!!! I consider that a success :) It was fun, full of food, and fundraising!
My worst day in football history EVER!!! It was horrific. Fantasy blow outs, COLTS lost, horrible.
Went to Saunder's Farm with Ella & her family and Jakey and Hannah went into the Mazes with Abby & Sophie! No parents ... Super cool!
I lost at Poker 2 consecutive nights in a row. Who loses on the first hand with Trip Aces?! Me. Boo to Poker. Yay to NHL11.
We had an incredible dinner tonight at my parents - they had an incredible craft table set up, great food! And the kids had a blast - thank you!!
Hopefully this next week is better documented ... or at least things slow down!
Cheers,
Sharon

it's going by way tooo fast - time to catch up!
Thursday - 16th ...
Movie day!
Friday - 17th ...
A busy one! By 8:30am, we were at the grocery store getting the much needed groceries. It's been bad lately for groceries which is kind of teaching me to use what I have in my fridge. Aside from a lack of vegetables, we've been getting by.
Danielle, Harriet, Ella and Miss Maddie came over for play 'n lunch! A perfect start for a Friday. Then in the afternoon we went to go see Adam's football game at Holy Trinity. It was a blow out and a super fun game to watch. I think the kids didn't even notice we were there. Mo, Mo, Mo. That's all I have to say.
Then it was a super fun night at home - pizza, friends, drinks, and well, I think there was some Poker! Ahahaha ... totally a bubbly night :)
Saturday - 18th ...
LONG LONG LONG. Turns out when you go to bed late, after having drinks the night before, it's all bad the next day. Hannah had ballet and tap early in the morning. It was/is her first time taking tap - super cute! The shoes are totally cute. Unfortunately the door stays close so I couldn't see anything.
After that it was home for rest. Yahoo. Then at night we hit our neighbors for a pasta dinner before their big race - the Army Race. It was in support of their cousin that passed away in action. Yummy food, great company, full and home to bed :)
Sunday - 19th ...
Off to Grand Mama's and Grand Papa's in the morning and ... FOOTBALL ALL AFTERNOON! Jen and her family came over for the PATS game and dinner. After that it was to WATCH THE COLTS WIN - and oh, pack up the stuff for the week of business.
Monday - 20th ...
FINALLY some school/break for me :) Morning in, then school for the kids! And a beautiful run for me - that's all I have to say.
Tuesday - 21st ...
Kind of a busy day. It's tough to get Hannah to Oxford and then do errands then get her and get home and get her all ready for school. Kind of a tight fit but doable. However, the 2.5hrs during Oxford I'm super productive which makes the rest of the day go smoothly. Knowing I had the KCNS meeting at night I was able to put together the house/dinners before I had to leave. Irony - I get it all done only to go to the meetings to find out there is more to do.
Wednesday - 22nd ...
Off to swimming with the kids. Jakey is getting better - no tears. But it's tough for him as he is in C and there is no assisted devices allowed - but he can't do anything on his own. He'll just strugle for a while I guess. As long as he is having fun I think it's a-ok. IKEA next ... cute little nick nack to hang the kids stuff on to show off. They each have a bin in their rooms of their arts/crafts/awards/certificates but sometimes they want to show it off before it goes on the bin. Now they can hang them in the family room. Also Jakey told me he liked a bed there - should I? should I? it's a bunk bed. Then school for the both of them - another good run - and poof! My free time is over. After school we headed to Ang & Mo's and Ang, Jakey, Hannah and I went to East Side's. Yummy new dish there - some Bolognese Penne.
Thursday - 23rd ...
It's only Thursday. Oh my. That's so what I thought. Wolfie hung out with us for the morning and Hannah was at Oxford. Then school - no run, the duty parent at Jakey's school didn't show up so I stayed - urg. Not dressed right or anything. How frustrating. Come night time I was SUPER DUPER Pooped!
Friday - 24th ...
TGIF TGIF TGIF!!!
Except it was my duty day again. I was so bloody tired, then at night we went out. How does that happen? The only days I sleep poorly the night before we go out at night. Hmmm ... It was Moxie's then Mo's for Poker. So much fun! Too late. Super bubbly! Oh I need sleep.
Saturday - 25th ...
Again, a long day. Why do I do this? Hannah ballet/tap in the morning then a family trip to the Agricultural Farm followed by Centrum. Seriously - headaches galore. However, after Movie Night with the kids (Horton Hears a Who) it was bedtime for ALL of us. Need rest for FOOTBALL DAY!
Cheers for now!

The biggest Wednesday yet!!!
Swimming (by accident arrived at 9am for a 9:30 swim class) with the most incredible teacher! His name was Scott and he even made Jakey laugh - yay! And he went down the slide - yay! Hannah was more than ok and I am so impressed! It's a Preschool C class so Jakey struggles quite a bit, but Hannah was a pro!
Then it was ... (drum please) ...
Hannah was off to Kindergarten and Jakey to Preschool!!!
Her are the photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/sharonfine620/HannahJakeyS1stDays?feat=directlink
Hannah had a great day! It ended with her giving her teacher a hug/kiss :) Pretty cute.
Jakey had a great day! It ended with him falling asleep at class :) Not as cute.
Way to go H & J!!!
Love the proudest mom ever,

Sun-Tues flew by ...
Some awesome awesome football games!!! Sunday was absolutely fantastic!!! WOW! I miss you O'Football.
Monday was pretty sweet to! Did errands in the am and went to Anita's (Sydney Gibbon's) in the afternoon. Gorgeous house - yummy ice cream - made the day go by fast! I offered to take Hannah to Bayshore at night - she passed up shopping?! What?! You know you are tired when.
On Tuesday Hannah had Oxford - which she loves - 'cause she loves learning - who's kid is she?! Then it was a trip to Bayshore ... Lots of moolah later the kids will no longer look ratty this year! Yay me and yay them. Although Hannah picked out some 'not so tasteful clothes', it's her style. I'm (getting) ok with that.
JK and Preschool tomorrow ... kids are still up, it's 10pm. Oh no.
Cheers,
Sharon

Pray, eat, tap, eat, shop, eat ...
Today we went to the Synagogue for Rosh Hashana. It wasn't bad. The kids got to hear the shofar - kinda neat for them. Hannah looked awesome in hr new outfit! And Jakey dapper as ever. Then we met Danielle & Kenny at Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Probably our last time on a patio. And of course, after we got Hannah her new tap shoes! I'm super excited for her to start. Jen, Sydney, and Henry stopped by for a quick visit. Then it was off to meet Ang & Mo for Pho and a quick Best Buy/Sport Check visit. By 9pm Ced was home and we were busy watching the Comedy Network Roasts! They are incredible! What a nice night with Ced - totally worth the wait.

Day #2: Rosh Hashana
Ok, so I'd say another busy day but ... I think all the days are busy! I tried to get a whole lot done while Hannah was in Oxford so I got my 100 list to-do done! Including getting the car fixed yet again. After Oxford I did even more to-do's then it was off to Angie's to drop the kids off while I cooked for the night. God Angie is a god-send! Then as per the night before we went to Ian & Amanda's for dinner for round 2. I think they had to roll me out of there. Kids were awesome, food was extraordinary, and it was a great night ...
ARE YA READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!
And the wait was over! Finally it's football season :)
I spent my happy night watching football while getting all my bags/napsacks labelled/ready for the next couple of days.
Life is better with the pigskin!
Touchdown,
Sharon
