Hannah - She can move, hop, jump, twirl :). Her speech is getting much clearer and she is telling stories now. She has the memory of an elephant! She can write a slew of words in upper and lower case letters, recognize all the letters, and is starting to sound out letters in words. I imagine she'll be reading pretty soon. She loves to learn (who's her mom?!). She is also super independant! Holy cow. She insists on doing everything herself - and actually can. It's crazy! And she can have a conversation and understand. She is getting better at time management - ie. not everything is from 'yesterday' but still there is no dates in understanding.
Jakey - He's turning into a boy. It's awful! He can also move like Hannah. His speech is getting more understandable. It still needs some work. But he's attempting it which is pretty cool! He, like Hannah, has an awesome memory! He can count 'til 3. Knows he is 2. And loves to sing adult songs. He also likes to do everything on his own ... and is starting to be more capable! He also understands wait, in 2 minutes, later, and now. It's crazy.
Anyhow, today was long - and tons of fun! Grocery store by 9am, doctors by 10:30am, lunch by noon, school by 1pm, Amanda's by 3:30pm, and home by 8pm :).
I'm hoping over the next couple of days to get more settled and to calm down a bit! since we got back things have been ridiculously crazy. Time to settle down.
Coffee is Crucial,
